Dr. King currently serves as the Medical Director at the Michigan Poison & Durg Information Center within Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. He oversees the medical advice provided by the staff of the Center and directs the bedside consultation service at the Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. King trained at the University of Pittsburgh where he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine and Fellowship in Medical Toxicology. He is also board certified in Addiction Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. King enjoys spending time with his family, music, and running.
